We’ve been hanging around the WordPress universe for a long time. We develop a lot of websites based on WordPress, and we have produced a number of free and premium WordPress themes ourselves. So we’re very familiar with what’s out there. Most other people who’ve been using WordPress for a long time also already know how to find and identify great themes, and sift the well-built and well-designed ones from the not-so-great.
In any case, we thought we set up a site that we can use as a knowledge dump and place for random thoughts on the nexus of photography and WordPress. Most of what you’ll see here are round-ups and reviews. But you’ll also see some general posts about WordPress developments related to photographers.

A NOTE ON AFFILIATE LINKS
Many of the links to specific themes you’ll find on this site are affiliate links. That means if you follow our recommendations and end up buying a theme through one of our links, we receive a commission. It’s a nice additional revenue stream for us, and it doesn’t cost us anything. We also want to be clear that it doesn’t have a bearing on what we say about each theme. The fact is that ALL THEME MAKERS offer affiliate links, and they all pay about the same. So we if we don’t like one theme, we can recommend another and it doesn’t have any bearing on whether we get commissions or not.
In fact, we’d add that the majority of themes we recommend are from ThemeForest, and they are the least expensive and offer by far the lowest commissions.
Even so, we want to be up front about it. And if you are anti-affiliate links, then you can just look at our recommendations, open up a new tab, do a quick Google search for any theme name, and pull it up yourself!
